Barnes Lotto

The Barnes Lotto is one of our longest standing fundraising initiatives. To take part in The Lotto, it costs £5.00 per month or £60.00 per year. Each month, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place winners are drawn at random for a cash prize. They get 50% of the prize pot split between them (1st place getting the most money, then 2nd etc). The other 50% of the month’s takings goes towards the club!

Corporate Sponsorship

BHC is looking for Club sponsors. This can be any company/person who would like to benefit from the promotion of their business through our membership by participating in one of our sponsorship packages.

Our packages include many brand opportunities such as pitch banners, social media advertising, website banners/ads, newsletter inclusion, kit sponsorship and others. There is flexibility on the level of sponsorship on offer to suit your requirements.

Team Sponsorship

Similarly, to club sponsorship, we are open to discussing individual team sponsorship. For example, team shirt sponsor/ social media / team travel sponsor etc.

Club Socials

Attending club socials is a great way to help raise money for the club. Our social committee host some fantastic socials, with food, shots, games and music included in the price. The more people who attend, the better the event and better the money for the club! If you have an idea for a social contact the social committee.

Why not run a social and raise money for your team?!

Dukes Café

For several Saturdays and Sunday morning junior sessions throughout the season, our brand-new pitch-side café sells hot beverages, bacon baps, chocolate bars etc.

All the money from the Dukes café goes towards the club’s fundraising total – so get yourself down to the pitch early, grab a coffee, and support the team before you or volunteer to help on a Sunday morning!

Donations

The club would be thrilled to accept one-off donations from anyone who would like to support the club, whether it’s a general fund or for a project-specific donation e.g., new training equipment, warm-up pitch lighting etc. Donations can be gift-aided to increase the income for the Club.

Ask your employer whether they run a matched funding scheme or have a corporate charity. They may be willing to donate.

Does your employer run a hockey team? Would you like a mid-week summer match?

Do you have children? The practice pitch and kitchen area are ideal for a children’s party.
